2012-05-19 byTerrible support personnel. Very difficult to understand because of their broken English. One support person hung up on me because information could not be understood by support and/or would not listen to what I was trying to get across the return problems that had happened. Had no idea what had already been done since original call to support. This experience I had with Dell has been by far the worst I have ever had with any computer hardware vendor since I started using and teaching computer technology in the early 1980's. Dell and the others all want our busy, but it is getting back to no customer support after purchase. When you thought things had improved you were thrown back in time to lousy customer service, but this time you can't understand the non-English speaking so-called support staff.
2012-05-18 by dgrousSomehow, my order was shipped in a way that the transport company said it would take days fewer to get to me than I expected, and it came late in the day the day the transportation company said, which was 3 days sooner than I expected. Bizrate didn't give me the same order arrival estimation time that Dell did, and it arrived sooner than Dell said it would. On one of the free shipping options. I've been WAITING DAYS for this bizrate follow up to get to me.
